Precision Wheel Nut Bolting for Off the Road Mining

The RAD wheel nut bolting system was designed specifically for applications where wheel nut torque must be controlled with accuracy and consistency. In off-the-road mining, improperly tightened wheel nuts create serious safety and maintenance risks. Unlike impact tools, RAD pneumatic torque wrenches provide controlled torque output for safer and more reliable tightening on heavy equipment.These pneumatic tool kits come with extensions or reaction arms that are made specifically for OTR (Off the Road) mining applications.

The Fixed Nose Extension

The Fixed Nose Extension was developed for extreme-duty maintenance on mining haul trucks from 50- to 400-ton capacities, as well as front-end loaders. Its extended design allows safer access to wheel configurations commonly found on heavy equipment.

The Nose Extension Kit (-NX)

The Nose Extension Kit (-NX) was designed for flexibility in hard-to-reach bolting applications. Complete with three reaction arms and a nose extension, the GX-NX Kit is well suited for off-road construction equipment and other heavy-duty wheel nut bolting tasks.
